Hospital visit brings shocking results

Everyone that knows me well enough knows that I absolutely hate going to doctors and especially hospitals. I mean, if I’m going to be miserable and what not, then I can be that curled up in bed, right? All they will tell you is, get rest, drink fluids, take whatever medicine that you can end up getting over the counter or even worse, we can’t find anything wrong! So, why waist all that time when you can skip that step and start doing that from the comfort of your bed?

Well, those were my thoughts until early Monday morning of July 10, 2018.

It all started on Sunday, July 9, 2018 at the bright hour of 6AM when my adorable little peanut, baby J decided it was time to wake up. We had our usual morning cuddles while I grumbled at him about waking up so early on the weekend and him just smiling away while poking me in the nose, ha!

At that point when peanut decided it was time to then start beating up mommy for his morning routine I noticed that I just was not feeling well. Definitely an unset tummy. No biggy, it wil go away in time. I’ll just drink more fluids and eat light. That usually works.

Hi toilet, how are you?

Starting around 1PM things changed. I started getting sick every hour no matter what. I eat, it went to my friend Mr. Toilet. I drank, same results. Ugh, no fun especially while trying to watch a 22 month old.

At 1AM on Monday is when I started getting concerned. I was visiting my friend the toilet every 20 minutes. It got so bad that I woke up the little peanut who came and stood in the bathroom with me a couple of times. Poor baby!

So, it was time that I broke down and take my ass to the hospital. I decided if I could hold off I’d go right after we got peanut off to Kindercare for the day.

Hospital visitng brings shocking news!

So I finally get to the ER around 11AM on Monday, July 10, 2018. I won’t explain here why it took that long to get to the ER because it would make the entry too long and that’s a whole other rant, smiles.

So, once I’m finally at the ER I find out that I am indeed seriously dehydrated and immediately given fluids and medicine to help settle my stomach. Blood work is done to find out why all of a suddent I got sick and what’s going on to make my poor tummy so agitated.

Around mid afternoon here’s what happened!

Docotr, hey there May, we found out what’s making you so ill all of a sudden
Me, *thoughts* oh dear, something not good.
Me, Ok, what’s wrong?
Doctor, You’re pregnant!
Me, drops phone on the bed and stares at the doctor
Me, I’m what? No way, are you sure? Huh? I’m what?
Doctor, Yes, you’re pregnant! We did the bloodwork to check for everything and the pregnancy test came back that you’re indeed pregnant.
Me, no way…I’m, huh! Wow!

Good thing I was laying down when I got that news!

Go to the hospital due to dehydration and come out pregnant! Welcome to pregnancy life mommy part 2!

Psst, hey baby in there, we’re glad you’re there, but could you have let us know without trying to kill me?

Third times the charm, happy birthday baby J

Whew, what a busy time it’s been! Lets update everyone that hasn’t already heard the news and hopefully get the blog caught back up, smiles.

As everyone knows that last week, last Tuesday afternoon I went into the hospital because baby J was trying once again to enter the world early and the results of that lovely visit. If you don’t remember, then, check that out here

Now lets move ahead to early Friday morning about 2AM eastern standard time. I end up in the hospital yet again because J says he wants out now! This time the staff is extremely rude in the fact that they made me feel like what the hell am i doing there, it’s all about the baby and you as the mother really don’t matter. Comments like, “the baby is fine so you’ll be ok.” I tell them I’m the one stressed out due to the pain he’s causing along with the contractions and I get, “oh, just relax and you’ll be fine. The baby is what’s important and he’s looking good. What’s a little discomfort to a healthy baby. You do want him coming out healthy right?” Um, like really. What a way to make the mom depressed and feel like crap, right?

So anyways, around 10:30-11AM our doctor comes in once again and states that “if the contractions were still 5 to 6 minutes apart she’d take little guy out, but since they’re not . . .”

By then I lost it and just cried even more. Once again how I felt and my concerns meant nothing even to my doctor! I was getting ready to call my bf and let him know that I’d be heading home once again to suffer because the doctors and nurses didn’t give a damn, but before that happened, here comes the fun part!

Baby J

No no no no nos, no mores upsetting my mommys and keeping mes in here. I wants out and I wants out rights now!

Five minutes after my doctor left my hospital room she came back in and said, “well the contractions picked back up so I’m going to check you out to see if you’ve dilated.”

The next thing I hear is . . . “oh crap, she has.”

Doctor, How soon can your husband get here?
Me, I don’t know, he’s has to call work and find a ride.
Doctor, um, well, do you think he can get here by 12:30?
Me, um, well, I think so, but he’ll definitely try super hard.

Come to find out that J was not screwing around this time. He meant business and they were taking him out by c-section or he was coming out naturally. He apparently made me dilate a lot, where if she waited any longer it would be taken from her by J, lol.

So needless to say I was then quickly prep for that c-section that wasn’t suppose to happen until August 29. BF/daddy made it there by 1pm and baby J was born at 1:59PM.

He entered the world weighing 7lbs, 8 ounces, 20 inches long, a head full of dark hair and blue eyes and to show his displeasure to the nurses and doctors that upset his mommy and forced him to stay in longer than he wanted…he peed on them! hahahahahahahah

Wow, let me tell you this boy has some powerful ass lungs on him! They pulled him out and within 2 seconds he definitely made his voice heard.

Doctor, now that’s what I like to hear.
Me, I told you had nothing to worry about. He demanded he was ready. Should have listened the first time.

So from this moment forward the pregnancy entries have ended and the fun of baby J has begun! I hope you’re ready for the ride…we’re in for trouble now!

Baby J tries again! Lets me out, part2

To my poor sicks mommy. Why won’t that doctor lets me out and makes you be all sick? Don’t she cares that you hurts and that I’s not comfortables in here? Just shes wait until I sees her. When she pulls me out I will spit up on hers ok? That okays mommy?

This will be a long post!

Yes ladies and gentlemen, baby J tried once more to enter the world early and this time he was not playing around like last month. Without warning contractions hit me like a huge freight train! They were so bad that I was crying and could barely walk when the ambulance showed up.

At 3:10PM eastern standard time the contractions started without warning and by 4:00PM I was on the way to the hospital. The contractions were coming in fast and furious with hardly anytime between them. Baby J was not kidding around this time. He wanted out and he wanted out right then! The poor ambulance guys didn’t know where we were going once we reach LMH, (Lima Memorial Hospital), but since we were just there on Monday plus the week before I could tell them where to go.

This time I was in room 7 with the uncomfortable bed. Man I swear that hospital needs better beds, just ow ow ow!! Anyways, one of the nurses that was there was one that just saw me on Monday and was like….weren’t you just here yesterday?

Those nurses plus the ambulance guys could definitely see i was having contractions and in some major major pain and could barely stand up. They were trying really hard to keep my spirits up and make me laugh instead of cry and I appreciate and thank them for that. I do have to say I seriously hate the machines they have to use to watch for contractions. For whatever reason with me, don’t know if this has happened to others, but the stupid things never pick up all the contractions. It baffled the nurses since they could see plus feel my stomach and tell that they were there. Damn technology!

So, they quickly get me switched into their lovely gowns, hooked to an IV for fluids, the awesome monitor to hear J and give me the first shot to try and stop the contractions. All the while baby J is like . . .

I knows likes it! Lets me out out out! *stretch stretch, kick kick, jab jab jab, push push push*

And his heartbeats sound like horses going full speed at the races! While my blood pressure was all over the place from as high as 162\116 to 124\83 and my pulse readings weren’t good either, but I don’t remember those numbers.

They discover that everything is still closed up as it should be and give me some pain med called Staydoll…sorry if that’s not spelled right. It totally kicks my ass! I get super shaky, dizzy, the world is spinning and I feel like I’m going to be sick all over the place! Definitely a medicine that my body says to *stay out!*

Here’s where things start to get really fun!

I’m feeling like total crap here and around 7:00PM eastern time they decide to bring me food and water and tell me that it’s all I get in case they decide for a c-section in the morning. Just great! Give me something after a pain med that’s kicking my ass and tell me it’s all I get, thanks! But wait, it gets better!

7:15PM eastern standard time they take away the water…oops, sorry can’t have that after all. Nothing by mouth now. Thank goodness I was able to finish the sandwich right before that and made it stay down.

Meanwhile, the first stop contractions shot isn’t working and baby J is demanding . . .

Lets me outs of here! I wants out now now now! Aren’t yous listening to mes? *push push push*

Round 2 of the stop contractions shot along with more pain meds, but a different kind now that also makes you feel sick and dizzy. Sorry if I spell it wrong as well, but it was something like Newid? I didn’t react badly to it, but it definitely didn’t make me feel great!

The contractions are still coming hard and fast while the stupid machine still isn’t picking them all up and I have this one dumb nurse named Ashley that had the nerve to say I was mistaking the contractions with the baby moving….excuse me! I’m blind, not stupid and this isn’t my first ride on this pregnant train you know!

Yeah, she was like feeling my stomach…which means she was feeling the contractions and saying it was the baby. She also told me, “I see why you like staying on your left side…because that’s where he is.” Um no, I stay on the left side because it’s actually the better side to lay on when pregnant…*duh* more oxygen to the baby and all that. Where the hell did she go to school?

We’ll skip ahead a bit here to around 8:30AM eastern standard time. I still have not had anything to drink, eat, ice chips nothing and I get yet another pain med shot because the pain is still way up there in the atmosphere! The nurses still haven’t heard yet on if they will take J out or not, so I wait wait wait and wait some more! Baby J is pissed because he hasn’t had food or anything to drink in hours and this makes things worse…for me of course! J is doing just fine according to all the monitors, except for the fact that he wants out and no one is listening yet again!

My lovely doctor shows up at 10:30AM and sees that I’m in pain, sees that I’m crying, but decides because all is well with J that she is not going to take him. Doesn’t matter how I feel that my blood pressure is still super high and that I’m stressed to no end…nope, lets hold off until the 29th and just come back if things start up again! It makes no difference that this is the second time that J has made it known that he’s done cooking and he’s ready to enter the world!

Don’t get me wrong, I completely understand her trying to hold doff until the date we picked, but if the baby is saying . . .

Lets me out out out!! Don’t you hears me?

And on the mom side of things, things aren’t looking great, don’t you think you should reconsider?

So anyways, she says no and the nurses do their damnedest to pretty much throw me out the door..where’s that cab, lets get you home now. Get out, see you! They don’t even help me get my clothes back on despite the fact I’m puking all over the place, dizzy and just yeah! Great service right! See you on Monday for your next stress test unless you have more pain and blah blah!

I get back home just in time to get sick from the car ride and wasn’t able to keep any food or drink down until around 10PM eastern last night. The medicine is still in my system, but thank god it’s not as bad now. I sound more like myself and can walk without feeling like the world is going to throw me off of it. However, I’m still in a great deal of pain, but I guess I just have to grin and bare it until my doctor takes J out.

That was our adventure, wasn’t it great? Until next time!

All about the winter melon. 2 weeks to go!

Whew, we are still alive, honest!

For those receiving this via email there is a video in this entry. You should know the drill now, smiles. www.youtube.com/canadianlynx1 and look for 36 weeks.

Wow, I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had a chance to update everyone in a while, bad me! So lets give a refresher, shall we?

Last month we were in training for a job with Red Roof Inn and our lovely little hellion decided he’s had enough and he was ready to come out! look right here to check out J complaining to management and to this day he is still very determined that he wants out right now and does not want to wait until his eviction date!

roll roll roll, stretch stretch stretch

Baby J
Hellos out there! I’s still stucks in here! Hows does I gets out of here’s? *push push push* I’s find a ways out!

Ow ow ow ow, that was my rib kiddo! Whew, I’m to the point where I agree with the little hellion….let, him, out, already! My body will thank you, lol.

Right now the little monster is having a blast pushing against my ribs and dragging his foot back and forth while I try and right this! *ow ow ow ow ow* How much longer is left?

So, we finished training and got back home from Springfield Ohio on July 29th and the following week, the first week of August started the doctors doctors and more doctors visit. yep, I now have my second home at the doctors. On Mondays I visit the hospital where J will actually be born and on Fridays I have my appointment that’s here in town.

The first week which I said was August 1, we were pretty concerned that they might have to take the little guy early due to the fat he tried coming out early already. Plus, on top of that some people decided it would be a *great* idea to stress me out and my blood pressure went *waaaaaaay* up and that was concerning for the doctor as well. But, in the end Mr. J still doesn’t get his way and has to wait!

Baby J
No no no no nos, I nos likes it. I nos wants to waits! *push push push, stretch stretch stretch* Lets me outs I says!

last week, which was week 36 we got more stuff for Jaydon, diapers, coothes and other important things like that and lets just say his bed was completely buried! Check it out! For those that can see, his bedding is pretty cool, smiles.

Also last week at the hospital part of the visit during the ultrasound we were told that he was happily sucking his thumb. He didn’t have a care in the world since not long before that I gave him his favorite, apple juice!

Baby J
kick kick kicks, roll roll, Apple juices, me wants apple juice!

Yeah, I probably shouldn’t have just thought that, hahaha. Better wrap this up soon so I can go find that apple juice before he really gets going!

We’re now at week 37 with just 2, count them, 2 weeks to go and the little winter melon is quite active and still bound and determined that he will get his way. Since he like never sleeps I must say that it’s fun trying to work and talk to callers making reservations when you have a little monster kicking your butt and really making his views known about his crappy accommodations!

push push push push, stretch stretch stretch.I sits on mommys blatter! Takes that mommy. kicks kicks kicks!

Ow ow ow, ok, guess I’m done writing now! *groans* my poor ribs. Oof, and back the the bathroom I go too it looks like!

So until next time from the land of the winter melon and I, take care all! And someone pleeeeeease send me sleeping darts for the monster!

Check out time for baby J?

Me: Good evening and thanks for calling Red Roof Inn Springfield, how may I help you?

Baby j; Mommy, mommy, mommy, let me out of here!!! The room is too small, I need bigger space! Whats do I has to do to gets more room?

Me: I’m sorry to hear you’re unhappy with your room little guy, but I see here that we won’t have anything for you until August 29, 2016 which is 6 weeks from now.

Baby J; but but buts, I wants out now now now now! Lets me outs of here! *jab jab, stretch, kicks* I’s not happy! Me demands you lets me out!

hahaha, welcome to the latest update of the little hellion and mommy, smiles. For those that missed the last update we are currently in Springfield Ohio for job training for Red Roof Inn the hotel. I will be at the end of it all able to join the land of reservation agents for this hotel, yay! Whew, let me tell you it is lots to learn, but I am enjoying it.

week 1
Our training class is pretty small with just 5 of us. It’s an *interesting* group for sure, smiles. Our Red Roof Inn trainers are freakin awesome and make the class amusing at times!

So, I finally discovered how to get Jaydon to be still. lol, too bad it doesn’t last long, only about 5 minutes, hahahaha. We discovered that the little guy *loves* it when we go swimming. So much so that I have to watch out for my own safety. He gets so excited and pushes around in there that he can make me crash into the wall or steps or hahah daddy if I’m not paying attention!

What the hell was in that meal?
Thursday night of the first week I had meatloaf and mashed potatoes and lets just say baby J went *nuts*

baby J: jab jab jab, stretch stretch stretch poke poke poke
me: ow ow ow ow ow! Oh dear this isn’t good.

I just figured the little guy was in a mood to seriously idk my butt and ignored it until Saturday night.

baby J: Hellos out there! *punch punch punch, jab jab jab* lets me out of here!
Me: oh hell, I think I better go to the hospital because things just aren’t right.

Hello Springfield Ohio’s birthing staff, nice to meet you sooner than I wanted!

Yep, you read that right. I had to go to the hospital due to all the pain that Jaydon was causing. Turns out that those lovely braxton hicks turned into contractions that were 3 minutes apart!

Me: Holy hell! No no no no no, baby J you can not come out right now!
Baby J: I’s wants out! *push push push* looks at me! Mommy mommy mommy, lets me come out!
Nurses: Wow, what a strong active little boy. You’re going to have fun with him. Good luck!
Me: hahahaha, I’ll need it.

It took 2 breathine shots to finally get the contractions to stop, but little J made sure I knew he wasn’t happy with the fact that I stopped him from coming out. They saw in the ultrasound that he stretched *completely* out with the biggest smile on his face and waved at the camera like he didn’t have a care in the world that he was currently beating up his mother, lol.

week 2
Baby J: *knock knock knock* I’s still here’s mommy! I wants out of here’s still. I has no room! *push push push, kick kick kick* Lets me out out out! Don’t you wants to hold me’s mommy? I wants to meets people!
me: no no no J you still have 6 weeks to go. You must stay in there! Ow ow ow! Someone send me a baby tranqulizer!

It’s a very good thing that we record the training classes because it’s super hard to concentrate on what’s going on when there is a kid trying to become a Red Roof Inn baby! Jaydon is bound and determine that he wants to be born in Springfield. He’s definitely heard that his mommy and daddy will be moving here, but what he fails to realize that that won’t happen until early next year!

Baby J: no no no, I doesn’t wants to waits! Out out out! *stretch stretch stretch, jab jab jab, kick kick kick* Stops ignoring me mommy and lets me out! Someone tells her to lets me out!

What will week 3 of training bring? Hopefully *not* the little honeydew hellion!

Only 8 weeks left!

For those that receive this via email there is a video in this entry. You know the drill, go to www.youtube.com/canadianlynx1 and look for *pregnant May week 31*

Can you believe it, there’s only 8 weeks to go! How time flies when you’re expecting a Mexican jumping bean!

Our little hellion is doing just great. *active* is an understatement! Baby J does not know the meaning of the word *sleep* or anything that is even remotely close to it.

We had our last doctors appointment on Friday, July 1 and his heart rate for this visit was sitting at 148, smiles.

Let me tell you that this time when we heard his heartbeat, we had the crap scared out of us! We’re not sure if it’s how baby J was hanging out in there or how the nurse was holding the monitor, but it seriously sounded like there was 2, count them, 2 heartbeats going off!

All that was going through our minds at the time was *oh no,* is it 2 in there? No no no no! It just can’t be, lol.

The eviction time has been set and will be carried out at 9AM on August 29, yay! This means I have to be at the hospital at 7AM, *groans*

Now, here’s the bad news and why Jaydon will absolutely hate me! Our doctor once again is making me be mean to our little guy. I can not, repeat, can, not, eat after midnight! *cries* He can’t have his apple juice or any of his favorite drinks!

I did warn our doctor that she’ll be pulling out a pissed off little boy and she laughed. Ha, she thinks I’m joking!

Mommy weight game 2.0
The weight game has started over due to the fact that we were running out of contestants from the first round, smiles. So if you want to get in another guess for round 2.0 of what will I weigh come August 29, then get those guesses in now. I’m now sitting at between 181 and 183 with 8 weeks left to go!

Current guesses are:
1. 185
2. 195
3. 200

Now, here’s the video for everyone to see what I look like now. This video was done on Sunday before we left for Springfield Ohio. ISorry for voiceover that just *would not* shut up!

Baby J’s height and weight game
We also started a new game Saturday night for baby J. What do you think he’ll be by the time his eviction date rolls around?

current guesses:
1. 19in 9.2lb
2. 21in 9.5lb
3. 19in 8.13lb
4. 18in 9.4lb
5. 19in 9lb
6. 19in 8.5lb

Wow, lots of guesses for him, smiles. So put in your guesses and lets have some fun and see who’s right at the end!

It’s getting cramped in here!

Hellos everyone. It’s me Jaydon!

I is a growing boy. It’s pretty small in here and I needs more room! Is it time for me to gets out of here yet?

poke poke poke! Jab jab jab!

Gosh moving arounds is lots of work Ooops, sorry mommy, no mean to makes you say ow!

stretches stretches, kick kick, tap tap tap!

Hey, daddy turn that backs on! I was dancing to that! He turns off the musics, bad daddy bad. kick kick kick!

Haven’t my mommy and daddy figures out that I loves hearing the musics? I doesn’t know how to make them understands me any clearer!

Where’s did the musics go? They just wait until I gets out of here!

Hey mommy, stops feeding me eggs, I no likes them! i keeps telling you that, but you keeps making me eats them, why?

oofs, has those hiccup things again. Sends me down a drink! jab jab jab, stretch, stretch, poke poke poke!

The road to Red Roof Inn

Ha, as I’ve already heard from one person, “I didn’t know you were looking for a job.” Well, I don’t know what to tell you since it’s ben posted pretty often since March, smiles. But of course since the other big thing going on is the baby it’s not hard to over look the non-baby messages, smiles.

Thanks to a friend of mine named Wes telling me about his work at home job I started the process of applying for the same job. Let me say it seemed like a long process and thank goodness I had baby J to keep me preoccupied, lol.

So to work for Red Roof Inn you first have to go through your blind related service. Here it’s Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities. From what I understand it’s pretty much just like or what BSVI use to be. All confusing if you ask me, lol.

So anyways, once you get in touch with your worker or sign up you let them know that you are interested in working for Red Roof Inn through Goodwill Easter Seals. If you’re lucky you have an awesome worker and the beginning process moves along pretty smoothly.

If not, well, then you probably end up with a worker who pretty much does nothing and you have to chase down to get answers like these:

I haven’t heard anything yet. just be patient.
Hurry and get this paperwork done so that we can hopefully fast track your application because training starts in April.
Oh, because you haven’t worked before they may be more interested in having you work somewhere else for a little while to get experience.

Or even better your worker may forget to let the job location know that your biggest concern is you being pregnant and you want to know if it would work against me for training and such and would be better to wait.

Moving right along. The next step is getting a Goodwill worker who works with you by preparing you for the screening interviews, finding out what you would need to work for Red Roof from home and just pretty much get a feel for who you are.

I just have to say that my person through Goodwill is just awesome! She’s kept in touch every step of the way since we met near the end of May. She’s been very reassuring when it came to me being pregnant and worked really hard to find out when training would be so that I could actually attend if all went well.

After you meet your Goodwill worker comes the first screening call and it’s done through Goodwill with a person named Bev and probably Jenny. During this call they find out things like what screen reader you use or large print software, go over a few of the scripts that would end up being your friend, tell you about the shifts that are open and things like that. They do ask a few questions relating to your work experience and what would you do in this situation type questions.

If all goes well during that call, you move right along to the Red Roof Inn interview. Now this can be done in 2 parts, the phone interview and then the face to face. If you get to the face to face there is also a typing test involved and you get to sit in and listen to some calls and a few other things.

Now I didn’t get to the face to face portion, yay! I had the phone interview yesterday morning and that’s where my road to working ends!

I was so so so nervous when it was time for my call because I have never worked before and this would be my first. I’ve wanted it since March when I first heard about it and with being pregnant and now near the end I was afraid it would stop me. But I shouldn’t have feared and listened to my bf and my Goodwill worker that was pretty sure I’d definitely get hired! smiles.

I HAVE A JOB!

What I will be doing is all the reservation type stuff and it’s a work at home job which is great! I’ll only take the short time off during the week I’ll be in the hospital evicting baby J, smiles. Since I like never sleep and I’m a night owl I’m going to be going for the third shift which is like the 11PM to 7AM shift.

Starting July 5, 2016 I will be going into training for one month with Red Roof Inn and I can’t wait! So once again it’s training time coming up for the blog along with baby entries hahah. So don’t miss the non-baby stuff, smiles.

Would you like cauliflower with that?

We made it to the final stretch! Welcome to week 28, the last trimester! Would you like cauliflower with that?

For those that receive the entries via email there is a video in this entry. You know the drill, smiles, www.youtube.com/canadianlynx1 Thanks to our Aunt Sharolyn the video has been corrected and is no longer sideways, lol.

Results of the sugar tolerance test
If you remember from the last update I mentioned that I had to do the 3 hour version of the sugar tolerance test, just bleh! As I said I think they like torturing me and making me drink that horrible orange drink!

For those of you that have never had to drink this here’s what may be as close as I can make it for you to understand. Think of the orange crush and then add sugar. If it’s not sickly sweet, then add more sugar! Gross right? Now imagine drinking that on an empty stomach and it has to be all gone between 5 to 15 minutes. Both my stomach and baby J was like….don’t like this, not at all!

Now I did this test last Monday. I couldn’t eat anything from midnight until after the test. In the end it was a little over 13 hours before we had food. Do you know how pissed off my little guy was?

From baby J
I’s was not happies! Mommy is suppose to feeds me when I says so, not makes me starve! I’m a growing boy in here you know! I kicks and pokes and pokes some mores but she still no feeds me.

Now if I would have failed this lovely 3 hour nightmare I would have had to poke myself 4, count them, 4 times a day! NO WAY! Luckily though all came back ok and baby J and I are just fine, smiles. No more torturing us with no food for hours on end! Now if I can just get him to understand that food won’t be withheld so he stops trying to immediately make me sick when he says he’s ready for food, lol. Any ideas?

Braxton Hicks?
What the heck, braxton hicks! Where did those come from? i did not have those with my other 2 monsters. What, what what!

I explain what I was feeling to my doctor and she immediately said…that’s normal!

What, that’s not normal. I did not have these before, lol. Once again our little guy is out doing his siblings and making this pregnancy totally different. Of course I was told I don’t have anything to worry about unless I start getting them about 4 times a hour i think she said. Um, how about can we not have them at all/ lol.

Baby J’s room
As I mention above sorry if the video looks sideways. I guess the IPhone didn’t want to switch over to landscape mode. Not many people told us it’s sideways, but just in case, sorry, smiles.

I mentioned at the last update that we got him a 7 in 1 crib. Well, thanks to our neighbor Jason it was put together on Sunday and looks awesome! So, his room is pretty much all ready for him. Just need a few more things to finish it up, but for now have a look!

What’s your guess?
Well, the weight guessing game is just about out of participants, lol. So I think we will be starting the weight guessing game over with round 2, smiles. So get your second round guess in now! We have about 11 weeks to go and I am currently sitting at 181 pounds! Holy hell! Can you believe that?

Baby news week 26

To those that receive the blog updates via email there is a video in this entry so you’ll need to go to my youtube channel to watch it www.youtube.com/canadianlynx1

This week baby J is a turnip eggplant, hahaha. The poor site we use once again is all confused, smiles. So who knows what he will be come tomorrow.

So here we are at the end of week 26 with baby news!

So last week I had to do the horrible sugar test again, just bleh! I really don’t think my doctor likes me, hahaha. Usually when you don’t hear anything no news is good news right/ Well, not this time! Sadly the test came back with my sugar being pretty high and that spells *disaster* This now means I have to take the 3, yes 3 hour test and I can’t eat anything after midnight. This is *not* going to make baby J happy at all! Once he tells me he’s hungry I can put it off for a little while before he starts hitting that button of, mommy I said *feed* me and feed me now! If I’m an idiot and not listen to him he decides to get more insistent and starts making me sick. Just great! So, on Monday I will be suffering from midnight until maybe sometime shortly after noon. This is so not going to go well! I think they just want me to drink that nasty orange drink again is all.

Now on the baby side of things.

We finally got baby J a few more outfits. Some have cars, elephants and ducks! Wow, I just can’t believe how tiny baby clothes are. I hope he can fit them when he comes out as much as he makes me eat, lol. I swear if he doesn’t come out at least 9 pounds I’l be shocked!

So along with that we got his baby bed which is a 7 in 1. I have never heard of a 7 in 1. This will last us a nice long time, yay! It came with a really nice comfortable mattress as well.

The next big thing thing that we need is the placard that will go in the living room and then it will be time to start collecting all those diapers hahaha.

The little guy is doing well. The ultrasound pictures came out better so don’t have to do that again. He is growing as he should, smiles.

I think we must have caught him at a rare moment of taking a cat nap because his heartbeat started off really really slow and then picked up speed when he realized he was getting attention. Of course he didn’t let us listen for long before he started nudging us away and then running away, lol. The lazy little turnip plant’s heart rate was at 154 this week.

So far I’ve gotten lucky and he hasn’t asked over and over again, but much to my dismay J *likes* peanut butter I definitely do not! This is a new development and maybe I’ll get lucky and it will go away, right? Maybe?

So, for those that are playing the guessing game here is the current weight. I am sitting at 180 pounds. Can you imagine that? Just wow and I still have lets just say 12 weeks to go.

I’m as big as a house!

So for those of you that can see here’s the video we did last week, week 25 so you can see what I look like now from the 10 week video.

The little guy is starting to really tap dance in there so I better try and figure out what he wants, lol. Catch you at the next update, smiles.
